Indulge in a healthy and delicious dessert with this creamy and nutrient-packed spirulina chia seed pudding! This pudding is loaded with healthy fats and fiber from the chia seeds, and gets an added boost of nutrition from the fresh spirulina. And with the option to add cocoa powder for a chocolatey twist, this pudding is versatile and customizable to your taste preferences. Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat milk (or coconut milk for a stronger flavor)
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon spirulina powder
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 3 pitted dates
  • Quinoa flakes (optional)

Directions

  1. Blend the oat milk, chia seeds, honey, dates, cacao powder and spirulina powder. 
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the pudding chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for a firmer consistency.
  3. Once set, scoop the pudding into serving bowls and top with your favorite fruit, quinoa flakes, granola, seeds, and/or nuts. Enjoy immediately, or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
